About the scheme

The Old Age Pension Scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Purvanchal, under the State Social Assistance Programme.

Who can apply

• Residents of Purvanchal aged 60 years and above.
• One application per eligible citizen.

How much you get

Rs. 250 per month, credited by DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) to the applicant's bank account.

What you need to apply

• A mobile number (for the OTP).
• Bank account number and IFSC code.
• One age proof document: birth certificate, school leaving certificate or Voter ID (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 5 MB).

How long it takes

Applications are processed within 15 days as per the Purvanchal Right to Public Services Act. Applications not processed within the statutory period stand approved (deemed approval).

Changing your application

One active application per applicant. A pending application can be withdrawn from the status portal and a fresh one submitted.
